Discover the true taste of chocolate. Experience the effects of chocolate. Learn important facts about chocolate. Especially for chocolate lovers!

An evening with Taste Chocolate will change the way you taste and view chocolate, and will enhance your tasting experience your whole life.

True chocolate connoisseurs will appreciate our careful selection of fine chocolates. A few select chocolates are only available at our tastings, but most can be purchased by the public.

Enjoyment!
Taste Chocolate offers many ways to enjoy a tasting, and one of the most popular are our monthly hosted events. A hosted tasting is typically small, with 15 people or fewer. So it’s intimate, relaxed and FUN!

When attending a Taste Chocolate event, expect to spend about an hour and a half savoring the tasting experience. It begins with a brief introduction, some background about chocolate, and some tips for getting the most out of each taste. Then we get to the good part – the chocolate!

Popular!
The most popular tasting, Chocolate 101, includes 10 bars of chocolate, beginning at 44% cacao and ending at 80%. Each guest is given a morsel of each bar to savor and explore. Placemats with information about the bars are included, with space for guests to note their own personal observations. Questions and feedback are always appreciated! Marcy has a wealth of information about chocolate, and she’s happy to share.

A palate cleanser of sparkling water and water crackers is available to help guests fully experience each flavor and sensation.

After the main tasting draws to a close, there is a “bonus round.” This is the time to experience some of the more exotic chocolates, and may include infusions, higher percentages of cacao, or unique manufacturing styles. Use your palate as a guide when taking part in the bonus round – not everyone can handle every variation!

Bars are available for purchase after the tasting, while the experience is still fresh in each guest’s mind. Of course, we also sell chocolate on our website, so remember to keep the placemat with your notes! Keep in mind, though – not every variety is available for online sale.

Want to experience it for yourself? Attend one of our tastings, or set up your own private tasting event.
